Taylor Wessing promotes bumper crop to partner” />Taylor Wessing has promoted a bumper crop of partners this year, with 19 getting the nod compared to 11 last year.
Germany emerged the winner with nine promotions in total. Six associates were promoted in London and four in Paris. The firm’s partnership has swelled to 280 in total, with 104 based in the UK.
Taylor Wessing UK managing partner Michael Frawley said: “In what has been a difficult financial climate, their respective promotions send a positive message to the market that our practice continues to grow steadily in our key strategic areas of corporate, real estate and intellectual property.”
Munich was the best office for promotions outside of London, receiving five new partners. The IP practice had five promotions in total, with just one based in London. Five corporate associates made partner with other promotions in practice areas including real estate, employment and private client.
