No5 Chambers is set to launch a human rights and immigration practice in Birmingham.
The new department will be led by former No 8 Chambers head of immigration Abid Mahmood. The move coincides with the launch of an Administrative Court in the city.
A large portion of the cases heard at the court are traditionally related to human rights and immigration. Mahmood said: “There are currently huge concerns among employers in the UK regarding the tier points scheme, which is the biggest shake-up of the immigration system for almost five decades.”
