Insolvency lawyer David Hinchliffe joined Leeds commercial firm Walker Morris as a partner this month. Hinchliffe, formerly a senior solicitor at Eversheds in Leeds, is joined by his assistant John Roche and secretary Sharon Dawson. Philip Mudd, head of banking and insolvency at Walker Morris, said: “Our banking and insolvency group, with four existing partners and 16 lawyers, enjoys a strong reputation, particularly in corporate recovery and reconstruction work. I am delighted David and his colleagues have joined us, adding a further dimension to our team.” Julian Horrocks, head of insolvency at Eversheds, said: “He has done well here but all good things come to an end. I wish him every success.” Hinchliffe is one of a series of recent recruits by Walker Morris, which took on all six lawyers from the health sector practice Leonard Oates in May.
