Midlands firm Martineau Johnson has poached Nabarro Nathanson partner Mario Conti for its pensions team.
Formerly an equity partner and member of the partnership board at London-based Nabarro Nathanson, Conti will join Martineau’s pensions group to work on merging and restructuring pension schemes.
Conti is a qualified barrister and was called to the Bar almost 30 years ago.
Martineau’s managing partner Bill Barker said the appointment was a significant boost to the firm’s pensions team.
“Mario’s appointment is a major coup for us, as he brings a wealth of experience from one of the UK’s leading commercial law firms,” he said.
“Pensions issues have been brought to the forefront of many companies’ minds over recent months and it is invaluable for clients to receive an integrated service across our entire commercial department,” concluded Barker.
