Shearman & Sterling's London office acted for Goldman Sachs International and HypoVereinsbank as joint arrangers and underwriters in providing senior debt finance facilities for the purchase of companies controlled by Kohlberg Kravis & Roberts & Co and GS Capital Partners. The firm also acted for Goldman Sachs in providing subordinated financing for the deal.
