Financial trade organisation International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) has hired Jacqueline Mei Lin Low as senior counsel for Asia.
Low joins from Singapore bank DBS, where she led the financial markets treasury legal group. As Asia senior counsel at ISDA she will be based in Singapore and give advice on regulatory matters focusing on South Asia. Low will report to London-based ISDA general counsel David Geen and Asia-Pacific regional director Keith Noyes
Green said: “She is well known to members in Asia and in this new position she will help us build on our base in Asia, which serves to help ISDA’s role as the strongest and most relevant financial trade association globally.”
Low is well-known to ISDA, having served as co-chair of the association’s Asia-Pacific legal and regulatory committee since May 2004. Before joining DBS Bank, Low spent time in the legal departments at Citibank and Rabobank and was regional compliance head for UBS.
