Reply Link Private Eye 11 September 2013 at 16:41 On the subject of law firms behaving badly (allegedly) – how come the two main titles of the UK legal press have totally dodged the biggest legal sector story for years: the law firms named in relation to the hacking scandal list? Is the legal press now protecting the law firms? Have they lost their collective spines? Have they been cowed by fears of libel – even though it’s easy to write the story with sufficient caveats? If so what is the point of the legal press any more if they won’t publish ‘the news’? Might as well give up the day job and all become PRs (which most do anyway).
