Next day, put 20% of admin staff on notice of redundancy. Reply Link tom 24 December 2013 at 12:22 anon @ 3.54, mergers almost always create duplication and therefore xn staff are always going to be at risk, the bad taste in the mouth is unavoidable, without a launch then the new venture might be seen as doomed from the start. Whether £75k is OTT is another matter, but would it have been any better if they’d sent the notice of risk around before the party?
