Speechly Bircham promotes four to partnership” />Speechly Bircham has promoted four associates to the partnership.
The new partners number two in the firm’s private client practice, and one each in corporate and real estate.
Managing partner Michael Lingens told The Lawyer that the promotions reflected the firm’s growth strategy.
“No single area has a dominance, we are firing on all cylinders,” he said.
“These promotions came together because the people are all at the right stage in their career development.”
Corporate and private client are key practice areas for the firm, Lingens added, while residential property is “reasonably peripheral.”
“Family is part of a wider offering, in the broadest sense it is adjunct with private client- but we don’t want to be Withers,” he said.
The new partners are:
Alison Broadberry (private client)
James Freeman (family)
Thomas Moran (residential property)
William Nash (corporate)
