Penningtons barrister joins partnership

Private client firm Penningtons has become one of the first firms to promote a barrister to its partnership.

The Legal Services Board approved Bar Standards Board applications designed to change barristers’ working practices earlier this month (1 April), and as part of those changes barristers can now work as managers, hold shares in legal disciplinary practices and work in partnerships.

Penningtons has promoted barrister and associate Nicole Curtis, who specialises in professional regulation litigation.
