Partners on the move…

London law firm Park Nelson has announced that Mathew Gault has been promoted to partner. Gault joined Thompson Quarrell in 1992 before the firm merged with Park Nelson in 1993. Gault will continue to practice in the private client services department of the firm.

Theodore Goddard has recently appointed three new partners. Andrea Cropley joins the firm's corporate group. Cropley has extensive experience of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and flotations. Monica Burch, who joined the firm as a trainee in 1988, and has gained experience in US litigation, becomes a partner in the litigation group and Andrew Shufflebotham becomes a partner in the property group. Shufflebotham, who joined the firm in 1998, specialises in commercial property transactions.

Vizards Staples and Bannisters has announced the appointment of Andrew Taylor to partner in the firm's commercial property department. Taylor, who joined Vizards Staples and Bannisters from Cameron McKenna in 1997, specialises in all aspects of commercial property, including investment sales and purchases and property development.

Manchester law firm Pannone & Partners has announced the promotion of six staff to salaried partner level. The new partners are Steven Lintott in property, Laurie Heizler in corporate, Carol Brooks-Johnson in personal injury, Jenny Urwin in clinical negligence, Anthony Barnfather in business crime and Andy Williamson in construction. Pannone & Partners now has 53 partners.
