Collyer Bristow makes two-partner swoop

Collyer Bristow has bolstered its London corporate and commercial and family practices with two partner hires.

The firm has hired Gary Withey from KSB Law to focus on the AIM market, an area corporate and commercial head Paul Sillis said had been lacking.

“We have been searching for someone with Gary’s expertise for some time,” Sillis said.

The firm has also recruited family law specialist Gill Rivers who joins from Charles Russell. Rivers joins an already large family practice, bringing more than 10 years experience.

Collyer Bristow partnership director Jackie Reiss said in a statement: “The appointment of these heavyweight practitioners forms part of our strategy to expand in key areas where we believe there are opportunities.”
