Addleshaws, camerons bag hotel group sale

Addleshaw Goddard and CMS Cameron McKenna acted in the £110m sale of WA Shearings’ hotel portfolio to Moorfield Group. WA Shearings is a holiday company specialising in trips for the over-50s, with offices across the North West. Moorfield is a London-based property developer that was listed on the London Stock Exchange in 1996, but was privatised in a management buyout in 2001. It bought the hotels in a sale-and-leaseback transaction. Addleshaws advised WA Shearings, led by partner Yunus Seedat. Camerons acted for Moorfield, led by Edward Benzecry.
