Tower Snow sued for $2.7m by Brobeck trustee

Iconic former Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison chairman Tower Snow has been sued for $2.7m by the trustee of the bankrupt Brobeck estate.

As reported in San Francisco’s Recorder, Snow is among 224 former Brobeck partners to be hit with demands to repay distributions and bonuses received after Brobeck allegedly became bankrupt in 2001.

The suit, launched by Brobeck trustee Ron Greenspan, is seeking $2m in distributions received by Snow in 2001, $503,000 in 2002 distributions plus $237,000 of the capital that was returned to him after he left Brobeck in 2002.

The suit comes as negotiations between Snow and Clifford Chance (CC) continue. It is understood both parties are ironing out an agreement under which Snow will leave CC’s equity but remain at the firm as counsel.
