GTM, which has retained Herbert Smith employment partner Andrew Taggart, has brought in Tom Linden QC of Matrix Chambers, while Croxford’s solicitor Susanne Foster, a senior associate at City employment boutique CM Murray, has engaged Akhlaq Choudhury of 11KBW.

Linden was also retained by Allen & Overy on the case against former Moscow associate Deidre Dare, who was sacked after publishing an online erotic novel.

Croxford, whose alleged grounds for complaint are known to include unfair dismissal, disability discrimination, Wages Act and public interest disclosure, left GTM at the end of last year. An equity capital markets specialist, he had joined the firm in 2009 after spending two years at White & Case. Prior to that he was a partner in McDermott Will & Emery’s City office.

The claim was filed on 16 February and is scheduled to take place at the London Central Employment Tribunal in September.

GTM and CM Murray declined to comment. Croxford could not be reached for comment.
