Beachcroft is to review its graduate recruitment programme in an effort to refine its selection process.
Trainee recruitment manager Carrie Daniels told The Lawyer that until now the firm has used generic selection criteria, but is looking to tailor the requirements to Beachcroft’s specific needs.
“We haven’t had a review of the graduate recruitment programme for five years,” Daniels said. “It’s time for an update and redesign.”
In addition the firm plans to expand its competency development framework to apply to its graduate training scheme. The programme was launched in 2007 to bring all staff onto the same career development framework.
By expanding this to include trainees, added Daniels, the firm would improve progression from trainee to associate status.
