Bond Pearce is revamping its corporate and social responsibility (CSR) programme ahead of its move into a new Bristol base later this year.
Planning partner Emerys Parry has been appointed by the management board to look at the firm’s current CSR activity and then present recommendations to the board on how it can be extended.
Parry told The Lawyer: “I’ve been charged with moving the whole thing forward. I’ve been carrying out an audit on all the schemes Bond Pearce lawyers are involved in with the aim of putting together a comprehensive CSR policy.”
Parry expects to present his report in the summer, but the firm has already started a new education initiative to encourage secondary school pupils in each of the eight cities where it is based to visit its offices.
Bond Pearce’s new Bristol landlord has also required it to draw up a green travel plan for staff and clients.
