In brief: DPP to deliver Fawcett lecture on equality

Director of Public Prosecutions Barbara Mills QC will be answering the intriguing question “What does a woman want?” when she delivers the Second Fawcett Library Lecture. Mills will examine the barriers to making equal opportunities at work a reality for women, and what is being done by the Civil Service and the CPS in particular in order to overcome them. She will argue that men and women alike, their families and employees, will all benefit from the achievement of genuine equality. The invitation-only lecture will take place at London Guildhall University on Tuesday 12 November.
