Holman Fenwick hire fuels energy team

Holman Fenwick & Willan has hired corporate and commercial partner Diana France to join its four-strong team of non-contentious energy partners.

Energy is a substantial part of the firm's practice, with 11 partners handling energy litigation.
France comes from the corporate department of Halliwell Landau, which she joined just last year, after 12 years at Watson Farley & Williams. She has also worked for British Gas Exploration and Production and Vivendi Group company, Dalkia.
Until now, energy has been an aspect rather than the primary focus of her practice, but at Holman Fenwick & Willan it will become her specialisation. Her experience in this area includes power generation, combine heat and energy management projects, and gas and upstream oil contracts.
Her move will significantly bolster the firm's growth in the energy market. Holman Fenwick & Willan's senior partner Robert Wilson said: “This is a significant appointment for the firm in one of our most important areas.”
