France’s Jeantet adds three partners from PwC’s associated firm

French independent Jeantet Associés has swooped on PricewaterhouseCoopers’ associated legal firm Landwell & Associés for three partners.

Private client specialist Nicole Goulard, litigator Sylvie Le Damany and employment partner Francis Collin join Jeantet along with their teams of associates.

The hires follow last week’s announcement that Landwell partner Michèle Anahory had left for Simmons & Simmons (6 April 2011). The Paris recruitment market generally has been particularly active during the first quarter of 2011 with around 40 lateral hires.

Philippe Portier, a member of Jeantet’s management committee, said the trio of hires was part of the firm’s strategy of selective growth and modernisation which it began in 2008.

Portier noted the firm was particularly pleased to welcome back Collin and Le Damany, who both previously worked at Jeantet as associates.
