Cadwalader lawyer defects to Linklaters

Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft has lost another lawyer from its New York capital markets practice, this time to Linklaters. Former associate Stan Renas joins the magic circle firm as a partner in its New York structured finance and derivatives practice. He is the fourth partner to join the group since it started in 2004. Renas’s departure from Cadwalader follows that of two-partner team James Croke and Peter Manbeck to Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe last month.
