Blackstone Chambers has elected Ian Mill QC and Tom Beazley QC as its new heads of chambers.
The duo replace Presiley Baxendale QC and Charles Flint QC after almost seven years at the helm.
Mill and Beazley will hold the posts for a five-year term, which began on 15 October.
According to The Bar Top 30, part of The Lawyer UK 100 Annual Report, Blackstone is the fifth largest set in the UK by revenue. Its turnover in 2003-04 was £23m, with average revenue per barrister of £365,000. The commercial and public law set has the highest silk to junior ratio, with one QC to every 1.2 junior barristers.
