Allen & Overy spin-off Maurice Turnor Gardner (MTG) has hired two pensions partners.
Jenny McKeown and Helena Berman both join from pensions and HR consultancy Mercer. Their arrival brings the number of partners at the private client boutique to eight.
The pair will handle trust and probate litigation and partnership-related disputes. MTG senior partner Clare Maurice said the pair’s specialist pensions expertise complemented the firm’s “unique business model and specialist approach”.
MTG was set up in May 2009 following the demerger of A&O’s private client department. It recently reported first year profits of around £2m and has secured spots on the panels of Barclays, RBS and Nationwide.
