Wragge & Co has announced a 30 per cent increase in fee income over the last year.
According to results an-nounced today, turnover as at the end of April is £54.5m compared to £42m last year.
Wragges' fee income from outside the Midlands is up 65 per cent this year, confirming its position as a national law practice.
International income now accounts for 25 per cent and is still rising.
The finance and projects group leads with 40 per cent growth this year.
It is followed closely by the human resources group with 39 per cent overall increase in earnings.
Dispute resolution celebrates a rise of 35 per cent, while both corporate and commercial and the property group, now the largest outside London with a 130-strong team, both see increases of 30 per cent.
The success is due to a combination of high profile projects for British Airways, McDonald's and HJ Heinz, two mergers, three strategic partner lateral hires and the opening of a London office, according to senior partner John Crabtree.
Crabtree says: “The last 12 months have been exceptionally strong for Wragges. By continuing to challenge the domination of City firms, we have demonstrated that national and international clients will choose firms based outside London.”
