Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co (WLG) has advised longstanding client Equiom on its acquisition of Vivat Trust & Corporate Services Limited, an independent fiduciary services provider based in Jersey.

This latest acquisition, Equiom’s sixth since December 2014, continues the company’s international expansion strategy.

WLG has worked with Equoim, a global trust and corporate service specialist, on various transactions over the last decade, including its secondary buy out by LDC in 2013. It has also advised on numerous acquisitions, as part of Equiom’s international expansion plans, including ofJersey-based Andium Trust Company Limited, Isle of Man-based West Corporation Limited,  AFP Group – an independent Hong Kong-based fiduciary and tax services provider, Ardel Trust Company (Guernsey) Limited and Lloyds Trust Company (Channel Islands) Limited.

Corporate partner Andy Stylianou led the latest acquisition, alongside fellow partners Kirsty Barnes (banking & finance), Martin Chitty (employment), senior associate Neil Hendron (corporate), associate Khurram Kayani (tax) and paralegal Chelsie Taylor (corporate).
