US firms Morgan Lewis & Bockius and Baker Botts have lost two partners to UK firms Stephenson Harwood and Withers.
Stephenson Harwood has taken on Rubin Weston as a partner from Baker Botts to strengthen its global finance practice in London. Weston specialises in oil and gas, LNG, mining and infrastructure.
Stephenson Harwood head of finance Susan Moore said: “Our international finance practice has an established reputation for its work in the oil and gas, LNG and infrastructure sectors, and Rubin’s expertise complements that.”
Meanwhile, Morgan Lewis’ former head of immigration Tracy Evlogidis will join Withers in the same role.
Withers’ co head of private client & tax division Jeremy Arnold said: “Brexit and changes to immigration policy in the US mean that the need for skilled immigration advice has never been more acute, and our clients look to us to deliver solutions that enable them to seamlessly move their families and employees around the world.
