Contracts are the lifeblood of any organisation; they are key to getting business done. Organisations large and small have countless active contracts at any given time, with terms and obligations to monitor and risk to mitigate. With many businesses facing increased competitive pressure, an increasingly complex regulatory landscape and strained profit margins, the stakes have never been higher for contracts in organisations.

Watch this session to get a practical view of how the contract lifecycle unfolds with practical examples from our speakers —and how a contract management system can help at every stage along the way – from contract request and drafting to obligations and compliance management.

Sandra started her career as a tech lawyer in 2001, joining Amadeus in 2007 initially to oversee negotiations of Amadeus SaaS contracts with Airlines. The contract management team structure, processes, templates and guidance of today are still largely built on the foundations Sandra set all those years back.
Over the years, she has been responsible for building out new Legal units, with only an intense time on the Data Governance Board and as global GDPR Program Director to divert from her eventual path into starting the new Legal Operations unit in 2019. With a passion for automation and operational effectiveness and efficiency, her unit is currently evaluating SaaS based documentation generation tooling in support of Amadeus’ global Legal teams. She is also responsible in Legal for training and awareness, archiving and knowledge management, budget and law firm portfolio coordination, nurturing a fun workforce culture, and many other operational and governance topics.
Sandra graduated 1996 in Law from Cambridge University (Sidney Sussex college), originally trained in Clifford Chance and moved through Morrison & Foerster’s TMT practice prior to joining Amadeus. Sandra lives near Munich with frequent travel to Amadeus headquarters in Madrid or the Amadeus development site in Nice – in normal times. In her free time, Sandra enjoys reading Sci-Fi, indoor climbing with her kids, and some occasional Qi Gong to balance out the demands of her job.
