Two new partners bolster BLP real estate

Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP) has bolstered its real estate practice with the appointment of two new partners.

Catherine Cook, a specialist in commercial real estate work, joins from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer where she was a senior associate, while Graham Lloyd-Brunt, a specialist in large-scale property development and PPP projects, joins from Norton Rose where he was a senior assistant.

Their appointments follow that of Clifford Chance partner Robert MacGregor, first revealed by The Lawyer (18 October), who will join BLP as the head of the real estate practice. A date has not yet been set for MacGregor’s start at BLP, as he is still in negotiations with Clifford Chance.

The appointments increase the size of BLP’s real estate practice to 42 partners.
