Trowers & Hamlins will retain 92 per cent of its trainees due to qualify this spring.
Eleven of the 12 trainees are staying on. Seven of the newly qualified (NQ) solicitors will be based in the firm’s London office, with one in Manchester, one in Exeter and two in Bahrain.
They will join the real estate; banking and finance; corporate, projects and construction; and Employment departments.
Training principal Tonia Secker said: “We would like to congratulate our outstanding trainees on becoming qualified solicitors. They have all worked extremely hard over the last two years, and we are delighted to offer them permanent roles so they can begin and develop their legal careers here at Trowers & Hamlins.”
Meanwhile, Mayer Brown is keeping on all four of its spring qualifiers, with two joining the banking and finance, one going to litigation and the other to insurance.
Training Principal Will Glassey said: “Congratulations to our trainees on their successful qualification. We are delighted that they will all be staying on at the firm in permanent positions in their chosen practices. This builds on our solid retention results from 2016.”
The firm kept on 66 per cent of its trainees last autumn and all of its qualfiers last spring.
