Clifford Chance‘s quality internal monthly mouthpiece has until now simply been called C – surely a stroke of minimalist genius.
Nevertheless, Clifford Chance staffers are excited by the announcement that C is going to relaunch in time for Christmas. Even more exciting is the prospect of winning £200 worth of Amazon gift vouchers for the “most witty and creative name that effectively sums up a CC people publication”.
However, we’re not holding our breath for anything that witty or creative given that the bar within Clifford Chance’s building was also christened by competition and is called ‘The Yellow Budgie’.
Apparently it’s because the firm’s offices are in Canary Wharf (do you see what they did there?).
