TLT has launched a dedicated licensing “hopline” for members of The Brewers Association of Scotland (TBAS). The service offers members free licensing advice, free legal health checks and discounted legal fees from TLT’s specialist licensing team – the largest in Scotland.

TBAS was established by brewers for brewers to help support, promote and grow the sector. It has grown to more than 40 members including Cairngorm, Stewart’s and Isle of Skye.

The hotline provides access to a full range of legal advice including support with licence applications, licensing training and regular newsletters and events, as well as access to TLT’s broader legal services including trade, IP and employment law.

TBAS members will be supported by some of the leading licensing lawyers in Scotland, including partner Stephen McGowan, who leads TLT’s licensing team in Scotland and was made an accredited licensing lawyer by the Law Society of Scotland in 2017; partner Caroline Loudon; legal director Niall Hassard; and solicitor Michael McDougall.
