The Lawyer, sponsored by Digital Legal Exchange, has launched an ambitious new project seeking to understand sentiments within the in-house legal profession.
This is the first of what will be a biannual survey forming part of a unique project which will allow us to provide unparalleled insight into the attitudes and opinions of in-house legal professionals and the key factors influencing the profession.
Research looks at team structure, hierarchy, and legal’s influence within the executive team. We also ask what impact lockdown has had on your workload and productivity.
Each iteration of the survey will have a series of themed questions, and this time around the focus is on the digitisation of the legal department. Lockdown has seen us all embrace technology to support the workforce in a remote environment.
The survey seeks to understand how effectively technology and software has been used within legal departments during the pandemic, attitudes towards transparency in technology, and how technology has provided accessibility to legal services from across the wider business.
All responses are anonymous, and no answers will be attributed to you or your organisation.
If you’re an in-house lawyer, take the anonymous survey here.
We are also looking to conduct interviews on the topic; if you’d like to take part please contact senior research analyst Jesse Middleton.
This landmark project is sponsored by Digital Legal Exchange.
