Brussels boutique Stanbrook & Hooper has brought a former EU law partner back to the firm.
Frank Schoneveld has spent the last four years in Spain as an abogado or government lawyer and has also held the position of European counsel for the Australian government.
His move arrives as the firm’s senior partner Clive Stanbrook QC claimed the firm was experiencing a resurgence in activity.
In January Stanbrook & Hooper lost a quarter of its lawyers in just a month. Two partners and three associates quit the firm in the wake of decision by Stanbrook to halt the firm’s growth (The Lawyer, January 19)
