Ropes & Gray had raised its salary for newly qualified (NQ) solicitors to £120,000. It rises from £115,000
The firm has also retained two out of three of its London trainees qualifying this March. They join the firm’s private equity transactions and asset management practices.

Ropes’ training scheme began in 2011 and has since grown to 14 trainees.
