The UK 200: The Top 100 is the most detailed statistical analysis of the UK’s largest firms available. It includes an extensive range of financial and headcount metrics, all of which are directly attributable to the UK’s 100 largest firms. It forms part of the UK 200 series, the only report on all 200 of the 200 largest firms ranked by revenue in the UK.
This year, the Top 100 report charts the fortunes, good and bad, of the 100 largest UK firms in the ten years since the onset of the financial crisis. It uses the exclusive data included in the report to reveal how some firms have struggled, others have recovered and several have thrived in the decade since the financial crisis.
The report also includes an exclusive data-led analysis of the largest US firms in the UK market, tracking their increasing prominence in London particularly over the past decade.
And in a nod to the growing diversification of law firms’ service offering, this year’s report includes an analysis of the burgeoning market for the provision of non-legal services at a growing number of UK firms via a range of consultancies. It also includes a diversity audit of the all 200 firms.
As ever, the report includes profiles of every one of the UK largest 100 firms, outlining recent key developments, headline data and areas of strategic focus. The majority of these are based on interviews with managing partners.
