The latest edition of The Lawyer’s UK 200: The Independents report, published in October, is the only analysis of the second hundred largest firms ranked by revenue in the UK market.
The full report includes a wealth of benchmarking data points such as revenue per lawyer, profit margin and detail on headcount on some of the best-performing firms in the country. Notably, average profits per equity partner at a number of Independents easily eclipse those of some larger rivals. But it also highlights firms that may be takeover targets by larger rivals.
