This year’s Litigation Tracker Q3 report will focus on the activity in the fifteen main courts tracked by The Lawyer’s Litigation Tracker.

Interestingly, the overarching takeaway this quarter is that activity levels in the courts experienced a slowdown with smaller numbers of cases reaching judgment. The court which experienced the biggest decrease this quarter was the Court of Appeal.

In line with previous quarterly reports, Q3 19 will provide an in-depth analysis of the main courts, examining the breakdown in terms of practice areas. It will also rank the most active law firms, chambers and barristers – using metrics such as cases and case days to aid with benchmarking. Additionally, a brief analysis of the gender diversity in barrister instructions features for each court.

The full Q3 report is an indispensable piece of insight into the evolution of litigation in the UK’s main courts during this quarter.
