Your roadmap to Asia-Pacific growth

  1. Track and analyse the growth of the leading independent firms based in Asia-Pacific
  2. Investigate the competitive landscape, who to benchmark and to partner with in the region
  3. Examine talent investment trends in the industry by accessing five years of promotions and lateral hire data of the 30 largest firms in the region
  4. Recognise which practice areas are growing despite the pandemic
This year’s Asia-Pacific 100 report will focus on the current state of the Asia-Pac market, with focus on activity in seven key jurisdictions including Hong Kong and Singapore, and an overview of the changing sizes, geographical footprints and strategies of leading law firms over the last five years.

The 2020 edition will include five years of data on partner promotions, as well as lateral hires made by international firms in the past year, highlighting which areas that firms are particularly investing in at the height of a global pandemic.

Like previous years, in-depth analysis is provided on the individual regions using metrics such as five-year partner and lawyer trends. This will exhibit the fastest growing and shrinking independent firms in the region from 2015-2019, as well as demonstrating which leading international firms are expanding their Asia-Pac presence.

As well as this, we focus on events which unfolded over the recent financial year discussing major deals and disputes, strategic developments and how independent Asia-Pac firms plan to overcome the economic pressures of the Covid-19 outbreak.
