Pinsent Masons has recorded 74 per cent trainee retention for this autumn.

The firm has an bumper crop of 91 trainees reaching qualification, with 84 applying for newly-qualified roles with the firm and 67 eventually accepting offers.

It is a decline on the 80 per cent retention the firm recorded last autumn (Pinsents has phased out its March intake), but last year it had 32 fewer qualifiers to accommodate.

Head of recruitment and graduate development Deborah McCormack said: “I’m delighted to welcome our newly qualified trainees on board into an environment and culture where they’ll have the opportunity to thrive.”
