Pinsent Masons has become the latest firm to launch a paralegal apprenticeship scheme.
The firm has signed up with the University of Law and Damar Training to deliver the two-year programme, which will begin in November.
Four apprentices will work in the firm’s London office and be paid a starting salary of £18,000.
There further vacancies in the firm’s Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds offices, all paying a salary of £15,500.
The firm is asking for a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above, including Maths and English, as well as three Bs at A Level.
It is also recruiting up to six finance apprentices, who will work to gain a professional accounting qualification.

Pinsents has also extended its contract with ULaw to deliver the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course for its future trainee solicitors.
Other firms to have launched apprenticeship schemes include Eversheds, Dentons and Burges Salmon.
