Ogier has promoted funds and corporate specialists Sophia Leavett and Praajakta Pargaonkar to senior associate in its Cayman team.

Sophia specialises in funds and corporate transactions, providing advice to some of the firm’s largest investment manager clients. She is part of Ogier’s international tax cooperation and regulatory team, providing guidance on the impact of FATCA and CRS within the Cayman Islands.

Praajakta is a funds specialist, advising clients on all aspects of open-ended and closed-ended structures including their establishment, restructuring and listing in the Cayman Islands. She also regularly advises on a wide spectrum of corporate and commercial matters including shareholders agreements, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and corporate reorganisations.
