Ogier’s British Virgin Islands (BVI) office has recruited partner Andrew Wanambwa to its dispute litigation team. Previously at Norton Rose Fulbright, he has experience advising major corporates, financial institutions and insolvency practitioners on a range of large commercial disputes.
Wanambwa trained with Clifford Chance in London and is admitted in the UK as both a barrister and a solicitor.
He has acted for clients in industries as diverse as accountancy, finance, telecoms, insurance, mining, oil and transport. He spent more than two years in Hong Kong where he was admitted as a solicitor in 2008. While there he worked on one of the jurisdiction’s biggest commercial disputes arising out of its largest insolvency to date.
