Ogier has advised Action Hotels on its sale to Action Real Estate.

Action Hotels, a long-standing client of the firm, is a leading owner and developer of hotels in the Middle East and Australia.

The Ogier team, led by global head of corporate Simon Dinning, has advised on the Jersey law elements of the deal, advising alongside English counsel K&L Gates.

The team included senior associate Kevin Grové (corporate) and senior associate James Angus (dispute resolution).

Ogier previously advised Action Hotels on its listing in 2013.

Simon said: “It was a pleasure to work with Action Hotels again and to join forces with Paul Tetlow and his team at K&L Gates. We have been involved in a large number of Jersey schemes of arrangement for international transactions in the last 12 months, and this is another great example.”
