Norton Rose Fulbright has kept on 20 of its 24 final-seat trainees, this spring, an overall retention rate of 83 per cent.
The firm made offers to all of the 22 trainees who applied for newly-qualified (NQ) roles, with all but two accepting.
The result marks a recovery from the 69 per cent retention it posted last September.
Meanwhile, Midlands-headquartered Browne Jacobson has kept on three of its four spring qualifiers, two in Nottingham and one in London. The three NQs join the firm’s corporate, construction and employment departments.
