No5 Chambers’ Satinder Hunjan QC is named Sports Barrister of the Year 2016 by Finance Monthly.

Satinder is a highly acknowledged QC who undertakes a diversity of sports cases. His cases in sports law is of very high-value (multi-million pound) which involve high complexity, sensitivity or raise unique and challenging issues.

Some of Satinder’s cases have come from contractual disputes involving sportsmen and agents, catastrophic injuries to sportsmen, in particular professional footballers and also failings in safety in the organisation of the sports event resulting in major losses and catastrophic injuries to spectators.

Apart from Sports Law, Satinder also undertakes work in clinical negligence, personal injury and general commercial work.

Satinder is Head of the International Development Group at No5 Chambers and he is also a Patron of the Child Brain Injury Trust.

This award comes on the back of being named Clinical Negligence Barrister of the Year 2015.
