The London Development Agency (LDA) has appointed a new general counsel from National Air Traffic Services (Nats).
Debbie Adams, currently head of legal at Nats, takes on the role from interim legal head Mick Lancaster, who will return to his former position as legal head of corporate and commercial when Adams joins the LDA on 3 July.
Adams will report to LDA director of resources and risk Andrew Travers. She will be replaced at Nats by Richard Churchill-Coleman who will hold the post of general counsel and company secretary.
Churchill-Coleman moves across from TUI UK, where he was group legal counsel.
As reported by The Lawyer (20 November 2006), the LDA general counsel role has been vacant since Thelma Stober quit to join the Greater London Authority (GLA) as its head of legal last year.
Stober had replaced Howard Carter, who left the GLA in September 2006 to head the legal department at Transport for London.
