Zaqia Rashid

TLT

Zaqia Rashid’s arrival at TLT in late 2021 was a major coup for the firm with Rashid joining from the Government Legal Department where she was the public inquiries, reviews, and litigation team chief.

In private practice she has been a pioneer for TLT, heading its fast-growing public inquiries and public law team which is now made up of more than 170 people. Rashid has solidified TLT’s sector-leading status in the public law arena, which means it is now a go-to firm for a wide range of mandates. Included in this are pivotal roles in series of high-profile public inquiries such as providing assistance to Sir Wyn Williams in his capacity as chair of the ongoing Post Office Inquiry, providing support to witnesses involved in the Infected Blood Inquiry and advising the Department of Health and Social Care for the Covid Inquiry.
Both collaborative and innovative, Rashid is widely regarded as an exceptional leader who actively encourages her team to be bold and confident.
