Shilpa Bhandarkar is the Global Head of Innovation and Nakhoda at Linklaters, responsible for fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within the firm. Through design thinking, developing and testing emerging legaltech, process mapping and automation, the innovation team she leads looks to develop new tools and processes to improve the way we work with and for our clients.

Shilpa also leads Nakhoda, a Linklaters-backed technology start-up that combines technology and legal expertise to fundamentally change how legal problems are solved and making legal data a driver for value creation. Our flagship product, ISDA Create, is a document automation and digital negotiation platform built in collaboration with our client International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) to automate and streamline high volumes of sensitive and complex contractual negotiations in the derivatives industry.

Shilpa holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and is a mentor on the LegalGeek Women in LawTech programme.
