Yum!General Counsel - Pizza Hut Europe

Sarah is currently General Counsel for Pizza Hut in Europe and the UK. Sarah leads a team of corporate, consumer and franchise lawyers and legal professionals to manage all elements of the Pizza Hut franchise business across 1,400 restaurants in 28 countries. Sarah was previously at BT for 6 years in a number of roles including as an M&A lawyer, creating and operating the legal and compliance function at Plusnet and Head of Privacy Law and DPO for EE. Sarah has developed a particular passion and experience for turning around & establishing legal and compliance functions. Sarah’s philosophy is that legal must be embedded into the heart of business and to always take a pragmatic approach to all legal matters to find innovative and effective solutions for businesses. Sarah trained and qualified with Clifford Chance in London and the Middle East. Sarah is also a local councillor for Wandsworth Council and most importantly, a parent to two toddlers (who give her excellent practice in her negotiation skills….)
