Rubya Ramjahn

eBayLegal Director, EMEA Retail Standards & International Ops

Rubya is an experienced e-commerce and tech lawyer. She is the lead counsel for eBay’s EMEA Retail Standards which manages the delivery experience, logistics or transportation aspects on eBay. She also sits in the leadership team of eBay’s International Operations team advising on legal aspects relating to cross border trade and product engagement.

Rubya founded and chairs the Black Asian and Minority Ethnic Group of eBay in the UK. She is also in the Diversity & Inclusion Committee of the eBay Global Legal & Government Relations Team and leads the Workplace sub-committee.

Rubya joined eBay as Head of Legal for APAC Cross Border Trade countries (covering Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Southeast Asia and Israel) in 2008 and was also the Head of APAC Intellectual Property of eBay before she relocated from Hong Kong to London 7 years ago.

Prior to joining eBay, Rubya practices intellectual property and information technology laws at major international law firms in Asia.
